GABF Calendar Day Five – 09/25/2015

What an amazing Thursday Session at GABF. Actually, the entire day was amazing. We spent the afternoon making the rounds downtown, hitting Falling Rock, World of Beer, The Source, Freshcraft and on and on and on, before finally walking through the doors of the Convention Center for the big show. The session seemed to be well laid out with few lines and plenty of room for everyone. We posted a photo recap HERE.

We’re ready to do it again today! This afternoon you’ll have the opportunity to see a new Alpha King crowned, sample gems over at the Rare Beer Festival and much more. Scroll down for details.

Head over to Denver’s Sunnyside neighborhood during GABF Week for the Sunnyside Beer Stroll. Visit all 3 breweries – Factotum, Diebolt and Denver Beer Co. Canworks for a chance to win some great swag. Pick up a map and stamp card from any of the breweries and start your adventure, which runs from Wednesday – Sunday. World of Beer will host Crooked Stave Artisans on Friday evening. Loads of exclusive brews will be tapped at 7 PM. Look for offerings from Jester King, Bell’s, Perennial, Almanac, Prairie, Broadside, Crux, Societe, Green Bench, Evil Twin, Cascade, Jolly Pumpkin, and many more. J. Wakefield Brewing and New Belgium will share some special Berliner Weisse beers at The Hi-Dive on Friday night. If you’ve never had J. Wakefield, this is not to be missed. And let’s face it, New Belgium’s no slouch either. They’ll be joined by Ratio Beerworks and TRVE Brewing. Tappings begin at 8:30 PM and will rock with live music from Dragondeer, and Bud Bronson and The Goodtimers.
